Extreme Mold Infestation

This unventilated crawlspace had a small leak which provided the perfect environment for mold growth in summer heat. Notice the pools of standing water on the ground as well as saturated insulation that fell. All of the wood was covered in mold. Prolonged water damages that go unresolved leads to bigger problems. This home owner was unaware of the water damage problem until it turned into a mold problem. As you can see from the after photo, we dried the crawlspace, treated it for mold, and replaced the vapor barrier.
